About

I am a fine artist from New York working primarily with various printmaking processes to depict narratives of the built environment (specifically ruins and abandon spaces in Italy and the United States). After spending significant amounts of time exploring and living in these two areas, I began to draw comparisons between the two types of architecture these cultures have left behind. Each area has a certain type of ruin with unique qualities and histories. By comparing these modern and classic ruins, I want to shed light not only on the differences and similarities of the structures themselves, but on emotions they evoke (immortality/ transience, despair/ awe) and records the built environment keeps and reveals.
